Peloton Touchscreen

2017-2019
Role: Lead Industrial Designer
Team: PM, Ben Schultz | Lead ME, Heidi Farrell | ID Director, Jason Poure | Supporting ID, Lee Hendrickson

I was responsible for designing Peloton’s new touchscreen and ensuring the design intent was realized through the entire product development cycle.

The Peloton Touchscreen needed to be compatible on multiple exercise platforms, deliver immersive audio and video, and elevate Peloton’s design language through form and material.

With my full design toolkit and steady input from the team, I arrived at a successful design concept.

Achieving the design intent at scale required dynamic problem solving and collaboration across disciplines.

As Lead Industrial Designer I worked closely with Product Management in defining the product feature set, especially speaker components and placement, visualizing the numerous options as we went.

I engaged with the team engineers and our manufacturing partners in Taiwan at all stages of development, enabling me to meet technical challenges with thoughtful design solutions.

The industrial design team provided comprehensive feedback and inspiration throughout.
